BadKitty starts prepping for Nationals at Miller Motorsports Park.
Stage-1 of the build starts with a new engine! Our friends at RPM (Rankin Performance Machine) and DDM (Don's Diesel Machine) did all the machining and Terry Tinney of Performance Motors did the assembly of the bottom end. The engine rebuild also also includes new accessories including AFM, teflon crank scrapper, oil pump, and rebuilt injectors. Check out all the new photo's on our build page. Donny Edwards dominates Spec e30 with two 1st place finishes.
These results establish Donny as the man to beat this year in NORCAL SpecE30 race series. Speed Trapp Racing did a complete suspension refresh with new shocks, struts, camber plates, and custom alignment. Donny said the car never handled better. The "Little Red Wagon" continues its march towards nationals!

Speed Trapp Racing sponsored cars dominate the podium all weekend!
Team101motorsports added a new Team member Ric McCormicK who brought the team its first podium finishes in SpecE30. Dan DiTrapani continues to podium their car in PTE making them the current season points leaders. Congratulations to a class group of guys with real talent.
Donny Edwards of Team Brimstone Dynasties continues to podium every SpecE30 race this season. His 2nd and 3rd place finishes place were hard fought battles with Carl Cho and Ric McCormick. These podium finishes place him solidly in the NORCAL season points lead for SpecE30. Donny has become a great friend and our best client. We look forward to working with Donny the rest of the season as we help prep his car for a possible national championship at Miller Motorsports park in September. Congratulations Donny!

Frankenstein gets a Makover!
Speed Trapp Racing's "monster", Frankenstein underwent a full makeover recently. Included in the makeover was a full cage done by TC Design Fab, a fresh new paint job, and all new vinyl by Wolf Vinyl. We are excited to unveil the all new Frankenstein, see the pics here.

Speed Trapp Racing to combine efforts with Pointsix Motorsports
Speed Trapp Racing and Pointsix Motorsports will be combining efforts to provide trackside technical support and parts for SpecE30 competitors. The ultimate goal is to have the best supported series in NASA.
Pointsix Motorsports is a full service race fabrication, parts and SpecE30 rental supplier.

Team Castrol-Speed Trapp Racing places 6th in class (E0) and 12th overall at NASA 25hrs of Thunderhill
Team Castrol-Speed Trapp Racing blazed their way to a 6th place finish in class and a 12th place finish overall, out of a large field of 68 racecars. Navid Kahangi, Tony Zwain, Gaby Dela Merced, Robbie Montinola, and Angelo Barretto co-drove the Team Castrol-Speed Trapp Racing BMW M3 and successfully completed the longest race in North America, the NASA 25 Hours of Thunderhill presented by the U.S. Air Force. We are all proud of the entire team for this monumentally successful first outing and look forward to kicking butt next year!

Team Castrol-STR looks for E0 class win at the 25 Hours of Thunderhill
Team Castrol-Speed Trapp Racing brings back a previous winning BMW M3 to the NASA 25 Hours of Thunderhill to compete in the E0 class. No strangers to endurance sports car racing, Team Castrol-STR will utilize experience and a talented driver line-up to compete at the 2008 NASA 25 Hours of Thunderhill presented by the U.S Air Force, December 5th - 7th, at Thunderhill Raceway in Willows, CA.
